ringing in the new
somebody wise once said that even the most mundane of things turn out seeming special by the presence of one important person. so i will consider myself lucky to have rung in 2006 surrounded by not one but several people who are very very important in my life. when you bring it down to the basics, isn't that what life is really about? happy new year everyone. may 2006 be special for all of us.

i dont know what these are. they are star shaped lights ive wanted for a while...i saw them at thie lovely little arts cafe in malaysia so took lots of pics while we had our soup. i want star shaped lights...sigh. :)

sara theyre from ikea and infact theyre on sale right now coz of post xmas clearance. i bought similar ones three days ago... $4.99! i went ballistic! hehe!
i just couldnt figure out what the place in the picture was...! reminded me of the lanterns from k's birthday so i was assuming it was a khaddi style shamiana party for new yrs that u hosted.. i was trying to get ideas from u on how u did the shamina thingee! hehe! i'm a weirdo.. i know! btw visit my blog sometime.. ive got two blogs dedicated to ya!
