If i could, I really really would...
...try to maintain something of the heightened awareness that follows when someone close to you passes away. It's like, suddenly, a light has been switched on inside you, bringing your choices and lifestyle into sharp focus; highlighting flaws, making you want to change them and emphasising priorities, making you want to enforce them. I would, if I could, want to remember that feeling of realizing, truly eye-openingly realizing, how blessedly lucky I am and how thankful I should be for all that have- friends, family, work, faith and health.
